Nu Way Car Center in Arlington can correct your peeling clear coat. Our experienced paint technicians use a computerized paint mixing system to ensure a high quality finish.

Once you notice peeling clear coat you should have it corrected as soon as possible. The proper way for correcting peeling clear coat is to strip the clear coat and base coat paint from each panel that is affected. The panels will then be  sanded, repainted and clear coated.

A typical new paint job will take 60 to 90 days to fully harden and cure. You should avoid automatic car washes, car washing detergents and silicone waxes during the curing period. If you must wash your vehicle during the curing period use water and cotton drying towels only. Storing your vehicle in the garage or using a car cover will prolong the life of your paint job also.
